Cats Eye: a common type o f marble, usually made of clear glass, with distinctive colour patterns through the middle that give the marble a cat's eye appearance
Firing: when a player flicks a marble out of their hand from a stationery position
Keepsies: a traditional marble game where players keep the marbles that they win
Knuckle Down: a type of shooting position taken by a player during a marble game
Marble: a small spherical toy traditionally made from glass or clay
Pee Wee: a term used to describe a marble that is smaller that the ordinary marble size
